TABLE-Czech central bank raises 2023 GDP, inflation forecast

PRAGUE, May 3 (Reuters) - The Czech central bank on Wednesday released the following forecasts in its updated macroeconomic outlook.
GDP 2023 2024 pct changed y/y +0.5 (-0.3) +3.0 (+2.2)
AVG 3-MO PRIBOR 2023 2024 % change y/y 6.8 (7.0) 4.6 (4.8)
AVG EXCHANGE RATE 2023 2024 CZK/EUR 23.7 (24.5) 24.3 (24.6)
AVG CONSUMER INFLATION 2023 2024 % change y/y 11.2 (10.8) 2.1 (2.1) NOTE. Brackets denote previous forecasts published on Feb 2.


The previous February inflation forecast pegged annual CPI at 2.4% in the first quarter of 2024 and 2.1% in the second quarter of 2024.
