JP Morgan appoints former Goldman Sachs banker to lead German branch teaser image

FRANKFURT, May 22 (Reuters) - JP Morgan (JPM.N), opens new tab has appointed former Goldman Sachs (GS.N), opens new tab banker Alexander Mayer as the new head of its German and Austrian branch, the U.S. investment bank said in a memo seen by Reuters on Wednesday.

Mayer previously spent 24 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as head of Investment Banking for Germany and Austria.

JPM's previous Germany and Austria chief Stefan Povaly will take on a new role as co-head of Global Corporate Banking EMEA, the memo adds.
