Jan 28 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq opened higher on Tuesday as AI-linked shares recouped some of the previous session's sharp losses and a mixed bag of corporate earnings fueled volatility.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI), rose 42.8 points, or 0.10%, at the open to 44,756.36. The S&P 500 (.SPX), rose 14.7 points, or 0.24%, at the open to 6,026.97, while the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC), rose 76.4 points, or 0.39%, to 19,418.219 at the opening bell.
