Jan 30 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Thursday, lifted by metal and mining shares, while investors digested earnings from some of the big tech megacaps on Wall Street.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE), opens new tab was up 0.71% at 25,654.42.
