Radisson Mining Resources (TSXV:RDS) is advancing its O’Brien gold project in Quebec’s Abitibi, where new drilling suggests the current 1.5Moz resource could grow much larger. Michael Gentile, Director of Radisson, points to “potential for three, four, five million ounces,” driven by deeper drilling beneath and around the historic mine. Gentile highlights intercepts at 1,500 meters, including “90 grams over close to four meters,” and says the first deeper holes “went nine for nine. Every single hole hit gold.” He adds that continuity is excellent, giving confidence in both targeting and future mining. The July PEA outlined an 11-year life producing about 70,000 ounces a year with AISC of US$1,059 per ounce. Gentile notes that at $3,300 gold, “the IRR goes to 74%” with a one-year payback. With $16 million in the treasury and a 60,000-meter drill program underway, Gentile says O’Brien’s location near multiple mills puts Radisson in a “very strategic and valuable position.”
