Newcore Gold highlights “184 grams over a meter” at Enchi
Newcore Gold (TSXV: NCAU; OTCQX: NCAUF), is up 125% year over year to a market cap of C$165 million and is advancing a 35,000-meter drill program toward a pre-feasibility study in the first half of 2026 at its Enchi Gold Project in Ghana. Sponsor of Kitco Mining’s Beaver Creek coverage and speaking with Paul Harris, President and CEO, Luke Alexander said, “We are starting to see more money flowing into the junior sector” as investors returned after the summer and gold hit all-time highs. He added that Newcore completed a C$15 million upsized financing in February and that institutional ownership is around 55%. Newcore has released results for 25,000 meters of its total 35,000 meters, across 207 holes. The first phase focused on resource conversion, moving ounces from inferred to indicated to support the PFS. The remaining 10,000 meters targets expansion and depth, with recent results including “184 grams over a meter” and “just over three grams from surface over 10 meters.” Alexander added, “We’ve identified multiple high-grade feeder zones across our project,” and noted steady cash and warrant inflows position the company to potentially expand the program. Near-term catalysts include ongoing drill results, potential resource updates from conversion drilling, and publication of the PFS in the first half of 2026.
