Elemental Altus merger builds US$1B Royalty company with 16 producing assets

Elemental Altus Royalties (TSXV: ELE; OTCQX: ELEMF) announced a US$456 million all-stock merger with EMX Royalty, creating a US$1 billion intermediate named Elemental Royalty. Speaking with Kitco Mining at Beaver Creek, CEO Frederick Bell called it “a great combination of two  very complementary portfolios,” highlighting four cornerstone royalties and EMX’s technical depth. He added, “ To borrow a phrase from Dave Cole, it's multiplicative across the expiration, across the commodity price, across technological improvements.” The combined company will hold 16 producing royalties and pursue a U.S. listing in October, with merger closing expected in November. Bell pointed to US$70–80 million in revenue, a US$50 million cash balance, and a US$200 million credit facility that expands capacity to deploy roughly US$250 million. Tether will invest US$100 million, adding further balance sheet strength. Beyond the merger, management plans disciplined royalty acquisitions, supported by cornerstone backing and a stronger capital base.
