Snowline Gold shares up 110% as valley PEA outlines 340k oz/yr for 20 year
Snowline Gold (TSXV: SGD; OTCQB: SNWGF) has surged to a C$1.9 billion market cap this year, driven by excitement around its Valley deposit in the Yukon. The project’s June PEA outlined a 20-year open-pit mine producing 340,000 ounces annually at all-in sustaining costs of US$844 per ounce. With gold at US$3,650, CEO Scott Berdahl told Kitco Mining at Beaver Creek that first five-year cash flow averages 544,000 ounces annually, putting free cash flow at spot nearly equal to the C$1.7 billion CapEx. “At spot prices, it’s around 1.9 years payback including ramp up...That really strengthens our position.” Snowline recently closed a C$102 million bought deal, giving it C$130 million in the treasury as it advances a pre-feasibility study. Beyond Valley, Berdahl stressed district-scale potential, with nine regional targets drilled this year, and noted that “any government investment isn’t just benefiting one company. It’s a district that could benefit the Yukon for generations.” Upcoming catalysts include Valley’s resource update, the PFS, and ongoing drilling results.
