Highlander Silver targets index inclusion with $440M market cap
Highlander Silver (TSX: HSLV) President and CEO Daniel Earle says silver is entering a structural bull market that will redefine the metal’s role. Speaking with Kitco Mining, he described “a true structural bull market for silver, where we've got constrained supply set against powerful secular demand growth.” Earle sees silver moving beyond its historical tie to gold, supported by solar, electrification, and advanced technology. With prices above US$40, he argued the run is just beginning. “At $50 an ounce, we should be thinking about $60, $70, $80 silver… I don't think it is unrealistic to be thinking about the potential for $100 an ounce silver in the midterm,” he said. On the ground, Highlander is advancing the Ayelén underground phase at San Luis while drilling Bonita as a near-surface open-pit concept. Early results from Bonita have returned broad intervals of high-grade mineralization, with updates expected every six weeks. Earle also sees tightening supply in the investable silver universe after recent consolidation, opening the door for Highlander to attract new institutional flows, including possible index inclusion later this year.
