Selling stocks for a ‘huge gold buying opportunity’ | Gareth Soloway
Chief Market Strategist Gareth Soloway warns that a “major market top” is forming as the AI-fueled rally pushes the S&P 500 to record highs. Speaking with Kitco News Anchor Jeremy Szafron, Soloway said the charts are flashing “exhaustion signs” and that milestones like Nvidia’s $5 trillion market cap “oftentimes mark tops.” He argued that “institutional money is dumping” on retail investors, drawing parallels between today’s AI enthusiasm and the 2000 dot-com bubble. “This is mania,” he said, warning that a “nasty snap back” could follow. Soloway shared his near-term playbook, saying he is “loading the boat” on gold during pullbacks toward $3,600 with a $5,000 target. He sees Bitcoin “sending a signal” of an impending stock market correction, identifying $93,000 as his re-entry level. On silver, his accumulation target sits at $43, while his broader analysis of Apple, Amazon, and Palantir points to further weakness ahead before the next buying window.
