Argentina’s Mining revival strengthens as Argenta Silver expands high-grade discovery
Joaquín Marias, President and CEO of Argenta Silver (TSXV: AGAG; OTCQB: AGAGF; FSE: T1K), says Argentina has reached “a no turning back point” as President Javier Milei’s pro-business reforms boost investor confidence and unlock new opportunities for mining. Speaking with Kitco Mining’s Investment Trends, Marias said, “There is no way to go back to what it was before,” highlighting growing stability, deregulation, and increased foreign investment in the country’s resource sector. Argenta recently intersected 40 meters grading 1,026 g/t silver at its Yaxtché deposit within the El Quevar Project in Salta, Argentina. The company is now fully funded with $23 million in the treasury and has begun a 15,000-meter drill program aimed at both resource expansion and new discoveries. With support from Argentine investor Eduardo Elsztain’s group and a clear regulatory path in Salta, Marias says Argenta is positioned to advance one of the country’s most promising silver projects.
