Highlander Silver CEO on $140M bear creek deal and the silver bull market

Highlander Silver (TSXV: HSLV) President and CEO Daniel Earle discusses silver’s sharp rally into the end of 2025 and how the company is positioning itself for the next phase of the cycle following its acquisition of Bear Creek Mining. Speaking with Kitco Mining’s Investment Trends, Earle said silver’s outperformance relative to gold fits the historical pattern of precious metals bull markets. “Silver begins to play catch up and then take over leadership and really start to outperform,” he said, pointing to persistent supply deficits, rising industrial demand, and tight inventories that continue to shape the market in 2026. Earle also outlines the strategic rationale behind Highlander’s all stock acquisition of Bear Creek, which adds the Corani silver development project in Peru. Corani hosts 229 million ounces of silver reserves and more than 400 million ounces of total resources and is supported by a 2019 feasibility study outlining average annual production of 9.6 million ounces. Earle said Highlander plans to restart exploration at Corani for the first time in a decade while continuing to advance its San Luis project, as the company scales into what it sees as a structurally strong silver market.
