Alamos Gold Inc. (TSX: AGI; NYSE: AGI) is targeting 600,000 oz of gold production in 2026 after weather disruptions and mill challenges affected output late in 2025. Speaking with Kitco Mining at PDAC 2026 in Toronto, President and CEO John McCluskey said the company generated record free cash flow last year while maintaining all-in sustaining costs of $1,524 per oz. Fourth-quarter production was impacted by operational issues at the Magino mill and extreme weather conditions in Canada. “We did end up with, with one of the worst Canadian winters we've probably seen in 40 years,” McCluskey said. The company is advancing an integration plan combining Island Gold and Magino, targeting roughly 540,000 oz of annual production at about a $1,250 AISC once the expansion is complete. Combined reserves across the two operations now total about 8Moz. “We're absolutely back on track, and we're looking towards 600,000 ounces of production in 2026,” McCluskey said, adding that Alamos is also increasing exploration spending to close to $100 million as it works toward a longer-term goal of producing 1Moz of gold annually by 2030.
