OceanaGold targets production growth and NYSE listing after record 2025
OceanaGold (TSX: OGC) is preparing to list on the New York Stock Exchange on April 7, 2026, as the gold producer targets higher output and expanded investor access following a record financial year. Speaking with Kitco Mining at PDAC 2026 in Toronto, President & CEO Gerard Bond said strong operational execution allowed the company to capitalize on higher gold prices. “We were able to convert a lot of those higher gold prices to the bottom line, delivering those records.” Bond said 2026 production is expected to increase about 12%, led by the Haile mine in South Carolina after a waste removal program completed in 2025 unlocked higher-grade ore. “Haile is the primary driver of our growth in 2026,” he said, adding the operation is forecast to produce 35% more gold at 25% lower all-in sustaining costs. OceanaGold ended 2025 with $477 million in cash and no long-term debt, while the company plans about $280 million in growth capital in 2026, including $150 million to advance the Waihi North project in New Zealand.
