Gold’s bull market is intact, but the next high may take time | Florian Grummes

Florian Grummes, Managing Director of Midas Touch Consulting, says gold remains in a secular bull market, but investors may need to be patient before the metal reaches a new all-time high. Speaking with Kitco Mining at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek, Grummes said the current consolidation could extend into mid-to-late 2027. “This will simply take time,” he said. Grummes also discussed Western central-bank gold buying, the long-term outlook for the U.S. dollar, rising bond yields and the inflationary risk from higher oil prices. On silver, he revisited what he calls “the mother of all cup and handles,” arguing the multi-decade technical pattern still points to substantial long-term upside despite the recent correction.
