Greenheart Gold begins drilling its top Suriname target | Justin van der Toorn

Greenheart Gold President and CEO Justin van der Toorn says Tosso Creek is now the company’s top exploration priority as an initial 2,000-meter diamond drill program tests the project’s scale and structural controls. Speaking with Kitco Mining at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek, van der Toorn said Tosso Creek needs to demonstrate “multi-million ounce potential” after trenching returned 56.0 meters grading 0.97 g/t gold at Swalanga and 7.0 meters grading 4.57 g/t gold at Walaba. Van der Toorn also said Greenheart’s roughly C$75 million cash position gives the company flexibility to accelerate successful projects while remaining selective about where it commits capital. He said the team is applying its Reunion Gold and Oko West experience across the Guiana Shield as it advances Tosso Creek and continues building a broader exploration pipeline in Suriname and Guyana.
