Sitka Gold targets bigger RC gold resource and 2027 PEA | Cor Coe

Sitka Gold is moving the RC Gold Project in Yukon toward economic studies as it completes one of its largest drill programs to date. Speaking with Kitco Mining on September 24, CEO Cor Coe said the company expects its 60,000-metre 2026 program to significantly expand the project’s current resource of more than 5.1 million ounces across Blackjack, Rhosgobel and Eiger. “We expect it to dramatically increase the resource,” Coe said. Sitka is targeting an updated mineral resource estimate in Q1 2027, with a preliminary economic assessment potentially following in the first half of the year. Coe also said major mining companies have visited the project, while Sitka is considering another large drill program in 2027 alongside its economic studies. On October 8, the company said more than 56,000 metres had been completed in 135 holes during 2026, with assays still pending from 79 completed holes.
