B2Gold targets 300,000 oz at Goose as ramp-up advances | Mike Cinnamond

B2Gold President and CEO Mike Cinnamond is prioritizing operational execution and stronger free cash flow as the company advances its Goose Mine in Nunavut and expands production in Mali. Speaking with Kitco Mining's Paul Harris at Mining Forum Americas 2026, Cinnamond outlined plans to bring Goose to 4,000 tonnes per day in 2027, supporting a target of approximately 300,000 ounces of annual gold production. Underground exploration could extend the mine's nine-year reserve-based life, while the George deposit offers additional growth potential across the Back River district. In Mali, the recently approved Fekola Regional project is expected to ramp up through 2027 and contribute more than 150,000 ounces annually from 2028. Cinnamond also discussed Gramalote's development outlook in Colombia, B2Gold's balance sheet and continued share buybacks. Following approximately $224 million returned to shareholders in the first half of 2026, he said delivering on existing investments could strengthen cash flow and help address the company's valuation discount.
