Radisson Mining targets 4 million oz at O'Brien with Agnico-backed underground plans

Radisson Mining is pursuing a 4-million-ounce gold resource target at its O'Brien project in Quebec, supported by a 140,000-metre drilling program and a C$57 million investment from Agnico Eagle. Speaking with Kitco Mining's Ernest Hoffman at XPLOR 2026 in Montreal, Matt Manson, President and CEO of Radisson Mining, discusses an 83% drilling hit rate under the company's criteria and reported high-grade intercepts, including approximately 1,604 grams of gold per tonne over one metre. O'Brien's March 2026 resource estimate totaled approximately 2.3 million ounces across indicated and inferred categories. Radisson expects another resource update around year-end 2026 and plans to develop an approximately 300-metre underground exploration ramp to assess geological continuity and future mining conditions. Surface drilling is scheduled to continue through mid-2027, with the underground program expected to extend into 2029. The 4-million-ounce objective remains an exploration target rather than an established mineral resource.
