Bitcoin Price Action and Dominance Metrics

Bitcoin declined over 4% on the latest daily candle, forming a lower low and testing the $63,000 support zone. The weekly RSI has plunged to 14.54, indicating extreme oversold conditions reminiscent of prior capitulation phases. A bounce from $63,000 is possible, but broader market weakness suggests additional downside before a sustained recovery.
Combined stablecoin dominance has rallied above newly established TBO resistance, with all four TBO lines pointing higher and a weekly RSI at 90.44. Concurrently, Bitcoin dominance has lost near-term support, underscoring the market’s risk-off sentiment and hinting that renewed selling pressure could intensify before a final washout.
Ethereum Outlook

Ethereum underperformed slightly, mirroring Bitcoin’s decline and reinforcing a target near $1,000 by the end of the bear market’s bottoming phase. The weekly RSI sits at 17.20, approaching the 2022 low of 12.69, which suggests that oversold pressure has yet to fully dissipate. Key artificial support levels on the weekly chart should be monitored for potential reaction points.
Crypto Market Breadth and Altcoin Indices

The broader crypto market indices (OTHERS.D, TOTALES, TOTAL3ESBTC) remain in strong bearish configurations. OTHERS.D printed a TBT bearish divergence on the daily close but bounced off the daily TBO fast line; however, its daily RSI is trending lower, confirming short-term weakness. TOTALES is trading below the weekly Ichimoku cloud with RSI at 14.55, OBV in bearish alignment, and no volume confirmation of a reversal. TOTAL3ESBTC is forming its third TBO close-short signal on the daily chart, highlighting systemic divergence.
Traditional Finance Trends

The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) is in the process of printing a second TBO close-short on today’s candle, a pattern that preceded its rally above 100 in mid-2025. Should DXY resume its ascent, expect further headwinds for equity markets. S&P futures have confirmed a daily TBO open-short, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average printed a TBO close-long after a 1.66% drop. The Nasdaq and FANG indices remain in bearish consolidation, and the VIX is making higher lows, signaling persistent fear in equities.
Asian Markets and Commodities

In Asia, the Nikkei maintains bullish momentum above its daily TBO cloud, the Shanghai Composite has resumed trading post–Chinese New Year, and the Hang Seng is approaching a fourth daily TBO close-long. UKOIL continues its uptrend toward TBO resistance near $80. Gold stands firm above its daily TBO cloud and the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level, targeting $6,500 on prolonged safe-haven flows. Silver reclaimed its daily cloud but stalled below its 0.5 fib barrier. PAXG/BTC exhibits exceptional weekly strength, nearing a TBO breakout with an RSI of 94.11, suggesting gold’s outperformance until Bitcoin capitulates and TradFi weakness confirms.
Individual Altcoin Technicals

Major altcoins are signaling further declines. BNB is set to print a weekly TBO open-short, XRP has fallen below its weekly cloud into strong bearish mode, and SOL has broken short-term support, forming a bear flag. BCH dropped 16% after recent TBO close-longs, while HYPE, PUMP, MYX, and FARTCOIN have all registered TBO breakdowns. NIGHT, SYRUP, and GLM show mixed 4-hour and daily bearish setups. Given the pervasive weakness, it remains prudent to await a definitive Bitcoin capitulation before initiating leveraged long positions in altcoins.
