Feb 1 (Reuters) - Kazakhstan's central bank sold $228
million in foreign currency from the National Fund on the
domestic market in January, while state companies sold $453
million, the bank said on Wednesday.
At the same time, the state pension fund bought $120 million
on the domestic market last month, the bank said. Foreign
currency sales support the exchange rate of the local tenge currency.
