GDANSK, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Turkey's tourism revenues hit
a record high of $46.28 billion in 2022, up 53.4% from the
previous year as lingering pandemic effects dissipated and as
war fallout drove a surge of Russian arrivals, official data
showed on Tuesday.
The tourism industry's previous record high was $34.5
billion in revenues in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic
struck.
