* PETS AT HOME: Pets At Home raised its full-year profit forecast, boosted by robust demand for its pet food, litter and accessories during the Christmas period despite a cost-of-living squeeze.
* DE LA RUE: Banknote printer De La Rue Plc said that its Chief Financial Officer


Rob Harding would be stepping down from his post.



* AG BARR: A.G. Barr said it


expects to post a 17% rise in full-year revenue, ahead of market expectations, helped by price hikes and steady demand for its cocktail mixes and beverages.



* TEACHERS STRIKE: Teachers across England and Wales are


going on strike on Wednesday after a decade of meagre earnings in a state-funded school system that has seen many take up second jobs or leave the profession altogether.

* FIREFIGHTERS STRIKE: British firefighters have voted for a nationwide strike over a pay dispute, their trade union said, stopping short of setting out exact dates as it gave employers and the government a final shot at resolving the row.
