TOKYO, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan board member
Naoki Tamura, a proponent of conducting a review of the bank's
monetary policy framework, will deliver a speech and hold a news
conference on Feb. 22, the central bank said on Wednesday.
In a newspaper interview in December, Tamura called for the
BOJ to review its monetary policy framework and tweak its
massive stimulus programme, depending on the outcome.
His appearance comes ahead of the BOJ's leadership
succession process, with incumbent Governor Haruhiko Kuroda's
second, five-year term set to end in April.
