ENEL Italy is considering replacements for Francesco Starace as chief executive of the country's biggest utility as key government figures are unhappy with him, three political sources told Reuters on Tuesday. Terna CEO Stefano Donnarumma and Flavio Cattaneo, deputy chairman of high-speed rail firm NTV and former head of Terna and Telecom Italia , are among those shortlisted to succeed Starace. (*) The group expects to obtain more than 3 billion euros from the sale of its assets in Peru, MF reported on Wednesday, adding that Enel hopes to attract interest from international investors. Enel is also expected to start "in the coming days" the process to sell two assets in Argentina, Costanera and Central Dock Sur, while for a third, Edesur, the process will start in March, the newspaper reported, citing financial sources. STELLANTIS The carmaker expects to have in place by the end of this year the technologies needed to develop ethanol hybrid vehicles in Brazil, its top manager for South America, Antonio Filosa, said on Tuesday. (*) DOVALUE The Italian bad loans manager said it had repaid the Class A senior notes of the Fino 1 securisation, under the terms by which the GACS guarantee was granted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The Fino 1 securitisation, which was completed at the end of 2017, at that time comprised approximately 5.4 billion euros (Gross Book Value) of loans originated by UniCredit, doValue said. OVS The Italian clothing retailer said on Tuesday it had called off talks to acquire rival group Coin, and reported 420 million euros in net sales for the three months to the end of January, and of more than 1.5 billion euros for the whole financial year. The company also said it expects sales growth to continue in 2023, and sees respite from rising prices. (*) JUVENTUS , LAZIO Juventus said late on Tuesday it had reached a deal with Lazio for the loan of defender Luca Pellegrini, who was playing on loan at German club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The deal envisages the right for Lazio to buy the player outright for 15 million euros, payable in five years, Juventus said. (*) Lazio said it had signed on a free loan Mexican striker Diego Luis Gonzales Alcaraz, with an option to later buy the player for 1 million euros.
