- Bustle Digital Group, which publishes Gawker, said on
Wednesday that it would shutter the recently revived gossip
website and cut about 8 percent of the company's total staff.
- A federal judge has rejected the Federal Trade
Commission's request to stop Meta Platforms Inc from
buying virtual reality start-up Within.
- On Wednesday, the Federal Trade Commission accused
healthcare firm GoodRx Holdings of sharing sensitive
personal data on millions of users' prescription medications and
illnesses with companies like Facebook and Google without
authorization.
- Adani Enterprises , the flagship of the Indian
conglomerate Adani Group, called off its $2.5 billion share sale
on Wednesday, citing "market volatility," a blow to the company
and its billionaire founder, Gautam Adani, as it struggles to
overcome a plunge in value set off by fraud allegations made by
Hindenburg Research last week.
