FRANKFURT, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Thyssenkrupp is
considering scenarios to consolidate Europe's defence sector,
but the maker of warships and submarines is currently not in
touch with Rheinmetall , which helps make the Leopard
tank, its chief executive said.
"At the moment we are not in active talks about a (defence)
merger with Rheinmetall," Thyssenkrupp CEO Martina Merz told
shareholders at the group's virtual annual general meeting.
