MUMBAI, Feb 7 (Reuters) -
STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 79.92 points, or 0.14%,
to 60,426.99, while the broader NSE index lost 26.7
points, or 0.15%, to 17,737.9. Tata Steel and Hindalco were the
biggest losers while Adani Enterprise and Adani Ports were the
top winners. RUPEE:
The Indian rupee was little changed versus the U.S.
dollar at 82.7250 ahead of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's
speech later in the day. GOVERNMENT BONDS:
Benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 99.62
rupees, with yield unchanged at 7.3157%, a day before the
Reserve Bank of India's policy decision. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:
The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was down
4 bps at 6.65%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate fell 1 bps to 6.25%.
CALL MONEY/REPOS:
India's overnight call money rate was unchanged at
6.10% against 6.10% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS
rate was at 6.08%, compared with the previous
day's weighted average of 6.0195%.
