HOUSTON, Feb 8 (Reuters) - U.S. crude stocks, gasoline
and distillate inventories rose last week, the Energy
Information Administration said on Wednesday.
Crude inventories rose by 2.4 million barrels
in the week ended Feb 3 to 455.1 million barrels, compared with
analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 2.5
million-barrel rise.
Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub rose by 1 million barrels in the last week, EIA
said.
Refinery crude runs rose by 449,000 barrels per
day in the last week, EIA said.
Refinery utilization rates rose by 2.2
percentage points in the week.
U.S. gasoline stocks rose by 5 million barrels
in the week to 239.6 million barrels, the EIA said, compared
with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1.3
million-barrel rise.
Distillate stockpiles , which include diesel and
heating oil, rose by 2.9 million barrels in the week to 120.5
million barrels, versus expectations for a 0.1 million-barrel
rise, the EIA data showed.
Net U.S. crude imports rose last week by
367,000 barrels per day, EIA said.
