Romania sells 415.4 mln lei of Nov 2024 bonds and 565.0 mln lei of April 2031 bonds

Feb 9 (Reuters) - Romania's finance ministry sold a less than planned 415.4 million lei ($91.47 million) worth of November 2024 bonds and a more than planned 565.0 million lei ($124.41 million) worth of April 2031 bonds on Thursday, at an average accepted yield of 7.02% and 7.48% respectively central bank data showed.


Debt managers, who had planned to sell 500.0 million lei of the November 2024 paper, last tendered them in December at an average yield of 7.05%. They also planned to sell 300.0 million lei of the April 2031 paper. Romania last tendered similar bonds in October at an average yield of 9.23%.
