MUMBAI, Feb 9 (Reuters) -
STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex fell 38.07 points, or 0.06%,
to 60,625.72, while the broader NSE index lost 43.6
points, or 0.24%, to 17,828.1, on concerns over the U.S. Federal
Reserve's rate-hike trajectory, while a drop in Adani Group
company stocks also dampened sentiment. RUPEE:
The Indian rupee weakened 0.09% versus the U.S. dollar,
and quoted at 82.57 per dollar, tracking weakness in most of its
Asian peers on concerns over the Fed's rate hikes. GOVERNMENT BONDS:
Benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 99.43
rupees, with yield unchanged at 7.3443% vs previous close of
7.3435%, as traders await green bond auction result. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:
The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was up 1
bps at 6.79%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate rose 1 bps to 6.32%.
CALL MONEY/REPOS:
India's overnight call money rate was unchanged at
6.40% against 6.40% in the previous session. The overnight TREPS
rate was at 6.76%, compared with the previous
day's weighted average of 6.3966%.
