White house: Russian oil output cut shows Putin willing to weaponize energy

WASHINGTON, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Russian's decision to cut oil production by 500,000 barrels per day, or around 5% of output, in March illustrates how Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to weaponize energy, White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Friday.
