BUDAPEST, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Hungary's construction
sector output declined by an annual 3.9% in December based on
unadjusted data, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on
Monday.
On a monthly basis, output was down by 3.7% based on
seasonally and working-day adjusted data, the KSH said. The
construction of buildings rose by 1.1% year-on-year, while other
types of construction declined by 12.7%, it said.
The volume of new orders plunged by 35.9% year-on-year,
while the stock of orders at the end of the month was 1.2% lower
than in the same period a year ago.
In 2022, construction sector output was up 3% year-on-year.
