India New Issue-Canara Bank to issue 3-month CD - traders

MUMBAI, Feb 14 (Reuters) - India's Canara Bank plans to raise funds through a sale of certificates of deposit maturing in three months, three merchant bankers said on Tuesday. The state-run lender will offer a yield of 7.23% on the issue for which it has received commitments worth 20 billion rupees ($242.2 million), the bankers said. The notes are rated A1+ by CRISIL and the terms of the deal were set on Monday.
