WARSAW, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Keeping interest rates at
current level is a mistake, Polish central banker Joanna
Tyrowicz told private broadcaster TVN24 on Monday, adding that
hikes would not be enough to bring inflation to the target
faster though, as better communication is crucial.
On Wednesday, Poland's central bank left its main interest
rate unchanged at 6.75%, remaining in a wait-and-see mode as it
assesses the damage to the economy caused by the war in Ukraine.
