Feb 14 (Reuters) - Dallas Federal Reserve President
Lorie Logan on Tuesday said that the U.S. central bank's ongoing
reductions to its balance sheet are a really important component
of the Fed's efforts to tighten policy and will go on for "quite
some time."
In a talk at Prairie View A&M University in Texas, Logan
also said that inflation remains the Fed's "top priority" and
that as she tours Texas the main thing she hears from
communities is that high inflation remains a challenge.
