BUDAPEST, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Hungary's economy grew by an annual 0.4% in the fourth quarter based
on preliminary unadjusted data, well below analyst forecasts for
a 1.3% expansion, while quarterly output dipped, the Central
Statistics Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
On a quarterly basis, economic output fell by 0.4% from the
previous quarter, the KSH said, marking the second successive
decline after a 0.7% fall in the third quarter.
It said annual fourth-quarter growth, which slowed sharply
from 4% in the third quarter, was driven mainly by industry and
services.
