Slovak economy grows 0.3% q/q in fourth quarter

Feb 14 (Reuters) - Slovakia's economy expanded by 0.3% in the fourth quarter versus the previous three months, data showed on Tuesday.


On an annual basis, the economy grew by 1.1% year-on-year, above a forecast of a 0.9% rise in a Reuters poll but slowing from a 1.4% increase in the third quarter. Growth overall in 2022 reached 1.7%, the statistics office said. The office did not break down the quarterly gross domestic product data but said consumption was supporting the economy. It will publish updated GDP growth data on March 7.
