of 2023 to 6.4% in January from a year earlier, with energy,

- Air India Ltd ordered 470 jets from Boeing Co and
Airbus marking the largest deal for commercial aircraft
in aviation history and coming as airlines scramble for jets to
meet surging demand for air travel.
- Tesla Inc workers in Buffalo, N.Y., have launched
a campaign to form the electric-vehicle maker's first union in
the U.S.
- Ford Motor Co has halted production and shipments of
its F-150 Lightning to address a potential battery issue, a
setback in the company's efforts to ramp up output of the
electric pickup truck.
