STUTTGART, Feb 17 (Reuters) - China's electric vehicle
market has so far grown at the bottom of the price range, where
Mercedes-Benz does not have a significant product offering, its
CEO said on Friday, saying the carmaker must wait for the
premium segment to grow.
"It is absolutely true that the growth of the electric
market in China has been from the bottom. .. segments where we
almost don't have anything," Ola Kaellenius said.
"Premium and upper luxury is still in its infancy. We have
to apply some strategic patience here and look at how this
grows."
