Iran rejects Israeli claims on oil tanker attack - foreign ministry

DUBAI, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Iran denies Israeli claims Tehran targeted an Israeli oil tanker on Feb.10, foreign ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani said on Monday during a weekly press conference. "We strongly reject the Zionist regime's accusation against Iran regarding the attack on the Israeli tanker," Kanaani said.


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday said that Iran was responsible for a reported attack on an oil tanker earlier this month. (Reporting by Dubai Newsroom; Editing by Hugh Lawson)
