India New Issue-Poonawalla Fincorp to issue 3-year bonds - bankers

MUMBAI, Feb 22 (Reuters) - India's Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd plans to raise 1 billion rupees ($12.1 million) through the sale of bonds maturing in three years, three merchant bankers said on Wednesday. The company has invited bids from investors and bankers on Friday and bidding will take place on the Bombay Stock Exchange's electronic platform between 10:00 a.m. IST and 11:00 a.m. IST, they said. The bonds are rated AA+ by CRISIL and the issue will be settled next week. In September, the company raised 500 million rupees through zero-coupon bonds maturing in two years and one month.
