MUMBAI, Feb 23 (Reuters) -
STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex rose 14.54 points, or 0.02%,
to 59,759.52, after a mixed session for U.S. equities. IT
companies were among the top performers and financials were the
biggest laggards. RUPEE:
The Indian rupee strengthened 0.1% versus the U.S.
dollar to 82.78, helped by the recovery in its Asian peers. GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 98.98
rupees, with the yield down 1 bps at 7.4114%, on value-buying
following Wednesday's selloff, traders said. OVERNIGHT INDEXED SWAPS:
The one-year overnight indexed swap rate was down
4 bps at 6.95%, while the benchmark five-year swap rate fell 5 bps to 6.59%.
CALL MONEY/REPOS:
India's overnight call money rate was down 10 bps at
6.55%. The overnight TREPS rate was at 6.39%,
compared with the previous day's weighted average of 6.5431%.
