Swiss stocks - Factors to watch on February 22

ZURICH/BERLIN, Feb 22(Reuters) - The Swiss blue-chip SMI was seen opening 0.1% lower at 11,270 points on Wednesday, according to premarket indications by bank Julius Baer . Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss stocks: CREDIT SUISSE The Swiss financial regulator is reviewing remarks made by Credit Suisse Group Chairman Axel Lehmann about outflows from the lender having stabilised in early December, two people with knowledge of the matter have told Reuters. RICHEMONT Richemont is being targeted by French luxury group LVMH , reported Finanz und Wirtschaft. SCHINDLER Swiss elevator and escalator manufacturer Schindler said on Wednesday it expects low single-digit revenue growth in local currencies for 2023, citing the ongoing slowdown of the global economy, combined with the pressure on the real estate and construction sectors. EFG INTERNATIONAL EFG International's net profit fell 1.7% to 202.4 million Swiss francs ($218.50 million) last year, the Swiss private bank said on Wednesday, as it settled legal proceedings related to a client relationship with a Taiwanese insurance company.
