TAIPEI, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Taiwan's economy is expected
to expand 2.12% in 2023, the Directorate General of Budget,
Accounting and Statistics said on Wednesday, downgrading its
outlook from a previous estimate of 2.75% growth.
Gross domestic product (GDP) shrank by a revised 0.41% in
the fourth quarter of 2022 from a year earlier, up from a
preliminary reading of a 0.86% fall, the agency said.
For the full year of 2022, it said GDP grew 2.45%, slightly
up from the preliminary reading of 2.43%.
