HOUSTON, Feb 23 (Reuters) - U.S. oil producer Chevron
Corp. plans to lift throughput at its Pasadena, Texas,
oil refinery to 125,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2024, the
company said in a securities filing.
The 112,230 bpd refinery was acquired for $350 million in
2019 from Brazil's Petrobras to process Chevron's rising
production of light, sweet oil from West Texas and New Mexico
shale operations.
