COMPANIES (*) TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) Private equity fund Fondo Strategico Italiano (FSI) is in talks with the government with a view to raising capital from pension funds to flank US fund KKR & Co Inc as a minority partner in KKR's non-binding offer for TIM's grid infrastructure, Corriere della Sera wrote on Thursday. (*) ENI The energy group said on Thursday its adjusted net profit rose to 13.3 billion euros in 2022, more than doubling compared with the previous year on the back of strong oil and gas prices. The company's board approved on Wednesday the third tranche of a dividend payment of 0.22 euros per share.

SAFILO The Italian eyewear maker told unions on Wednesday that its Longarone plant in north eastern Italy was no longer strategic and could be sold, workers' representatives said A2A Board meeting on preliminary FY results.
