MANILA, Feb 24 (Reuters) - The Philippine central bank will likely hike interest rates one more time this year and that could happen at the next meeting and would be more likely be by 25 basis points, its governor said on Friday.

However, if the month-on-month February consumer price index is negative there will be no need to hike rates, Governor Felipe Medalla told reporters on the sidelines of a dinner hosted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
