JAKARTA, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Indonesia's central bank has
been intervening to defend the rupiah exchange rate, which has
come under pressure amid predictions of more U.S. interest rate
hikes, its governor Perry Warjiyo told an economic forum on
Tuesday.
He said he believed the rupiah would strengthen once
uncertainty around rate hikes subsides.
