BANGKOK, March 2 (Reuters) - Thailand's customs-based
exports contracted for a fourth straight month in January, by a
more-than-expected 4.5% from a year earlier, as global demand
slowed, commerce ministry data showed on Thursday.
That compared with a forecast year-on-year fall of 1% for
January in a Reuters poll, and came after December's 14.6%
slump.
